Do note that this is as much for my learning purposes as yours. I practically memorized the whole thing just by making this chart. Thus, as a non-native Russian speaker, I'm likely to err in places.

For all you nerds-- -cough- linguists that would like to spice up Sharo, this is the way to do it. Also, since children who speak Russian in American high schools are rather rare, it's the best way to cheat or pass notes ever.

You didn't learn that from me.

Excellent resource. You only tend to see Japanese or French guides like this on DA, nice to see something different from the norm.

Very nice!

You forgot these two though :) ь (myakii, soft sign) and ъ (tyorkii <sp?>, hard sign) Although they seem to serve more a pronunication purpose than written but me, they still use it. They're very pesky > : \

I always have problems pronuncing the ш, щ and the ы. In Spanish we don't tend to differ pronouncing y and i, so I'm always 'scolded' by not pronouncing them differently xO That, and ш & щ sound the same to me.

Are you taking Russian, or self teaching yourself? :)

Self-taught. I put this together more to teach myself. :noes:

My self-teaching of languages is a lackadaisical one. It's not formally organized; I learn what I want a few phrases at a time, and begin to piece things together. "Oh, I've heard this before. 'Ya hachu' must mean 'I want'. :B"
